Hypocrisy: sometimes I can be guilty of it too. I recently spent around 20 minutes lecturing my mother on why she should never shoot into the sun, only to go and shoot around 50 frames practically directly into the sun myself.
I was up early while on holiday last week and caught the sun as it was rising beyond the hills. It looked gorgeous behind these bare branches and I experimented a bit.
The better photos came slightly later when it was a bit too late to shoot directly into the sun (I used the prime time for the photos I posted earlier on, from behind the window).
Every time I look at this picture I feel kind of torn – I am not sure whether I like it or not, but I keep stopping on it to take a decision so I think it must have something going for it. This is exactly why I’m putting it up for discussion – any comments will be appreciated.
