It is hard to get Greta to pose for a photo, especially if she knows I’ll be posting it as an artistic entry. This one worked so well because it was as close to a candid as you can get. She knew I was there and shooting but I guess didn’t realise I was shooting wide.
Given the situation, I’m not too sorry that the shot has the subject dead-centre, but it needed some post-processing to make that a bit acceptable. Thankfully, by shooting at f2.8, I managed to throw most of the background slightly out of focus despite shooting at such a wide angle.
