A couple of days ago I uploaded a picture of droplets condensed on the inside of a window as my entry of the day. I asked for feedback on Google+ and one of the kind users there suggested that I should choose something interesting to show in the background to give the picture more interest.
This morning, as I was having my first coffee, the sun was rising behind a large panoramic window in the place I’m staying at on holiday. I rushed to get my camera and shot what is effectively the same photo (macro shot at 300mm), this time looking into the sun. Given that the sun was rising it was still early enough to allow me to shoot into it and I was also rewarded by some beautiful orange hues. The result is still quite abstract, but the sun in the background adds an extra layer of interest and intrigue.
