A thorny issue

Shot with a Canon EOS 50D (w/ 17-55 F2.8 IS USM lens)

  • Shot on Aperture Priority.
  • Focal Length: 55mm
  • Aperture: f2.8
  • Exposure: 1/1600s
  • ISO 100

I love photography, and I usually carry my G12 around with me but now that I have to produce something of quality on a daily basis I have started to lunge around my SLR – even on a short hike in the country side. Today I was out rambling with a few friends and even though the walk was not planned for photography, three of us had SLRs. Unfortunately all the beautiful views were directly facing the sun.

I got quite a few decent shots anyway, but this is the one I liked most because it is a subject I would not usually shoot. I’ve never really done nature close-ups because I don’t find them to be particularly inspiring, so trying it out was fun.
